Workplace safety yields favorable returns

Community expectations nowadays, are for companies to have safe work sites. A poor safety record of a workplace imposes a substantial impost on the community

Wolrdwide it has been estimated that the costs of unsatisfactory safety at work adds to an estimated 1.25 thousand million US dollars every year. And global, deaths linked to work places amounts to around two million people yearly.

It’s been established within the US, how a dollar put into safety at work returns three as a result of lower accident rates at work.

With improving safe work practices, there is a standard methodology of assessing hazards, reducing them and then taking behavioral measures for the irreducible risks . As one might imagine, safety signs have been created to cover thousand’s of different situations and have consequently been organized into functional groups . In order of ascending risk to human life, the safety sign types are Notice, Stop, Caution, and Danger.
