-If you have any doubt about a company that contacts you over VoIP, do not feel embarrassed to call the company the supposed caller claims to be calling from.  Know that many phishing attacks are made through an automated phone, so you’ll want to talk to a real person when you call.
-To protect yourself from outside hackers, double-check to find out if your call manager software detects and filters out suspicious calls.  And, when looking at options with your business VoIP provider, discuss anti-phishing features as well as protection methods.
