Once you have a BPI bank account, you are eligible to apply for Express Money Order or Express Cash card. These two cards are very helpful if you are sending money regularly to your family. You can send money from your BPI savings account to their card via online banking or transfer money through any BPI ATM.
Only BPI Express Cash card can be used to purchase something in the mall or supermarkets provided it has enough balance. It works like a debit card.
There is a P100 application fee if you want to have these cards. They have two or four years expiration from the date of issue.
If you want to transfer or send money for free to your relatives, you must consider having a BPI savings account and applying for Express Money Order or Express cash card. Only 10 cards will be allowed per each person.
