The Worst Thing I’ve Ever Performed……

The worst factor I ever did was to get a joint bank account with my wife, it can be the trigger of most arguments in my property, specially as neither of us are excellent with income and neither knows what the other is spending. It is surprising that we don’t really have huge debts, and I feel if either of us got a credit card that would really be a trigger for concern.

As an example, the other week I made the decision to treat myself to a set of golf clubs, which in hindsight it could have been a fantastic idea to inform the wife, however that incredibly exact same day she went and bought some Kids Bikes for our youngsters, which was apparently “one of those spur of the moment decisions”.

The thing that drives me mad is that if I fancy going to the pub for just a couple of drinks with a few mates she throws the biggest hissy fits possible, saying that we really can’t afford it, yet it is ok for her to go and blow a couple of hundred pounds on gear from Ann Summers. If I complain about this then she hits me with the “perhaps if you weren’t so rubbish in bed…” reply.

We have attempted almost everything to curb the arguments, we’ve visited a marriage counsellor and also a monetary advisor. The monetary advisor was possibly one of many worst in the organization. He recommended that every time we thought about spending any dollars that we should consider the poor kids in Africa and regardless of whether what we had been obtaining would be completely required. Meaning that the poor kids in Africa would require food, so the weekly food shop was fine but buying a games console wouldn’t be necessary that desperately. My wife loved this idea, and right away yelled “Yeah, the poor African young children don’t will need golf clubs or beer”, to which I replied “Nor do they need children bikes or sex toys!”.

In the end I did make a decision to become much more cautious with money. I started saving and every time I reached a selected point like 1000 for example I’d place it inside a black bag and bury it within the garden exactly where she wouldn’t uncover it. So far it is going pretty effectively. I’m not saving for any cause in certain but I’m taking into consideration that when I get up to anything great like 20,000 buried in the garden I could dig the funds up and bury the wife there rather and basically start to take pleasure in my life again.
