Is Your Local Council Good To You?

The elections are over and the votes have been counted but the real question that you need to ask yourself is, are they actually going to make a difference to you or even the town in general?

Start looking into some of the promises that they have made the town. Council candidates have to make promises before elections and these are something that they have to try and keep too so make sure that these are done once they are in power, it is up to the people to decide on this. Make sure that the council you voted for are doing all they can for the town because if they aren’t you can do something about it.

Councils will often use colour laser printing to actually send out various items to the people within the area.

Is your council actually fixing things or simply wasting money on things you really do not need at all, these are questions that you really need to look in to. An example of this is in my own town where the council chose to put up a very small and very poor looking stained glass window costing around £150 when they could have actually fixed two potholes that could cause people serious injury.

Some councils (like mine) have it all wrong when it comes to looking after the people and this is a great shame when it comes to businesses stuck in serviced offices London and serviced offices Soho.

The main thing to do if you feel your local council are actually doing something majorly wrong is to get together with people that you know feel the same way and make a name for yourselves. If you do not do this then you will find councils will just take advantage of the population.

So there you have it, just a bit of advice to help you out when it comes to something like this.
