The elusive power of a little promotional merchandise can easily be underestimated, but in playing field of marketing, promotional product is one of the driving forces why companies win and focus on  corporate promotional items as part of their strategy. This is the essential reason why many companies invest in promotional products just to make at least a slight edge over their competitors. It may seem a desperate investment but the result will definitely yield a good crop in the long term. Contributing promotional product as a corporate present to an employee for a job well done also makes a bilateral outcome. First, the employee will feel that his or her work is prized that will boost his or her drive to achieve more. From the point of view of the organisation, increased ways of working will be seen. There is a work suggesting that giving corporate gift to employees who have done well in their tasks reduces absenteeism and improve productivity. This merely displays that when the employees are treasured and receive something from the company in substitute for good work, the company will prosper more. Costumers on the other hand who get a useful promotional item will recall the company where the item came from and this is why  promotional merchandise is so important these days.

Irrespective of the price and as long as it is useful, with quality, and sends the right message to the intended recipient be it a client promotional merchandise is an effective way improve relationship at the same time, increase the chances that the merchandise or services that the company offers is known. It should be in the want that is connected to the business or merchandise and will reach the right persons who have the potential to become costumers.
